Welcome

TLC Amplifiers is a family run music electronics business, based in Birmingham, UK. Formed in 2000, as The Luvvit Company, since 2013 we have been focussed on the repair of amps (mainly valve, vintage, and high end domestic), studio gear (desks, mics and fx), and keyboards, synths, and combo organs.

The core of our business is valve / tube guitar amplifier service and repair, hence the name.

Our list of clients include: Liam Gallagher Band (all guitar & bass amps), Adam Zindani (Stereophonics, Casino), Saul Davies (James), Micky Harris (Scorn, Napalm Death), Dan Glendining (Headswim, BlackCar), Thom Edward & Hannah Al Shemmeri (God Damn), Rich March (Pop Will Eat Itself), and this year's stars of the Commonwealth Games, Friendly Fire Band.

We undertake work from individuals, retailers, venues, studios, bands, tours and backline companies.

Under the brand name Brelliott Amps, we design and build hand-crafted valve amplifiers.

Please note that we work mainly with through-hole, hand-wired amps and vintage equipment. Some brands and technologies are not economically viable for us to repair, and we suggest contacting the approved service company for these. We are not set up with the diagnostic, test and repair equipment, and this includes most modern mass-produced equipment, employing surface mount components. Please feel free contact us, and we will happily advise on the viability of a repair.

News

13/06/22 - Due to a lot of hard work and dedication, the waiting lists have been pretty much cleared, and we are able to offer you our full, back-to-normal service. We also operate a premium fast-track service, so if you need equipment repairing to a short deadline, we can pull out all the stops and get your equipment back to you, ready for a show, tour, recording, etc.

15/03/19 - Branston Amplifiers is being re-branded as "Brelliott Amps" - I've been called Jonny Brelliott for years. The penny dropped this week, when I designed a fantastic new logo. Now to re-brand as many amps as I can in time for The Guitar Show, at New Bingley Hall, Birmingham. The domain brelliott.com has been bought, and all future design work will be carried out under this brand. Brelliant!

So, until then, have a look around, but mainly check out our Facebook and Instagram accounts. Oh yes! - we now have Instagram!
